I was reading the newspaper (I do that from time to time) the other day and came across an article in the business section about how the current recession hasn’t even touched the video game industry. It seems to be chugging along just fine, if not getting stronger. And something that excited me even more is that it seems as though Canada is now the number 3 producer of video games coming in behind Japan and the US. Go us!!

It’s nice to see that some companies are continueing to thrive while the economy takes a nose dive. Even better that it’s in an industry that I enjoy! I work in the funeral industry and we’re also continuing to do business as usual. People generally don’t hold back their demise due to economic uncertainty so my job is safe for now! At least until we figure out immortality. Then I’m going to have  a big problem …
