Since L33tz0r and I are currently separated by an ocean, spending quality time together can get a little tricky. For us, online gaming is such a great way to “do something” together without having to actually be physically together.

Last night we dusted off out Steam accounts and downloaded Counter Strike: Source again. I remember playing 3 years ago and the graphics were pretty good. Last night while playing I had to giggle because they are dated by today’s standards. Just another example of how fast technology changes and evolves.

I was surprised at the number of people still actively playing CS:S. I had figured that people would have moved on to CoD or other such games as we had. But there were lots of full and active servers to choose from. Our biggest problem was finding a server that was good for both of us since we are so far apart. It was very frustrating constantly getting kicked from servers because of high ping!!

Eventually we chose a 1 on 1 server so we could hunt each other down for the kill. I can’t think of a better activity to do with the man I love than to get out my SMG and pop him with a headshot Aren’t I lovely?
