Gaming during the Holidays
If you’ve got a family like mine, the holiday season is full of tradition and visiting relatives. For some people, this is a real pain in the ass … but for others it’s what makes Christmas special. I suppose I’m a little bit of both. While I love seeing family and friends, I still want to get some gaming in while everyone’s got the time off.
The holiday season has always been one of those times throughout the year when guilds everywhere, in many different games, feel the lowest in activity and recruitment. People are busy with real life commitments which overthrow gaming commitments. I try my best to find a good balance so that I am able to spend quality time with my family, but also fit some WoW time in. Generally the WoW time is spent very late in the night after everyone has gone to bed. There aren’t as many people online but at least I can get some serious questing done!!

I always play more during the holidays since a lot of people are home and playing.
