So I’ve been a bit distant lately. Not posting as often as I’d like to. But … I’m sick, you see.

My name is Girliegeek, and I’m a WoWaholic. Yes, I admit it’s true. It’s not something I’m particularly proud of but the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem so here it is. After quitting a few months back, I just couldn’t resist and had to start playing again in time for the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King.

And do you know what? I’m actually kind of impressed by the new expansion! I’ll just tell you about a few of the things I have really been enjoying so far.

Achievements - Sure they don’t actually get you THAT much but there is something strangely satisfying about that little badge popup letting everyone know that you just accomplished something. I’m even kinda looking forward to going through all of the Classic instances to get the Achievements for those. And that Leeeeeeroy Jenkins one is up there on my list. It might be worth mentioning that I have rerolled … horde. *GASP* Yeah, I’ve gone to the dark side. I’ll let you know how that’s going at some point. Because of this I am currently only level 40.

Inscription - One of the good things about my reroll is that I could actually level a profession at the pace they were meant to be levelled. So if you’re planning on doing Inscription, the logical thing to pair it with is Herbalism. It’s a really easy profession to level because there are herbs everywhere you go if you can be bothered to stop for them … and I can lol! The other good thing about it right now is that it’s still a new thing so people are willing to pay lots and lots of gold for some of the things that you make. Glyph of the Penguin has been my highest gold earner fetching me an average of 15g per glyph. And the mats are really easy to get so it’s basically free gold. That’s just my server, not sure about the others. Which glyphs are selling best on your server?

New Pet Tab - The new pet tab on your character sheet has been great because now, you no longer have all of your mounts and pets taking up bad space in your inventory. Extra bag space is always good bag space.

Currency Tab - Tying in with the pet tab, the Currency tab is also saving you some valuable bag space by holding onto all of your PvP tokens.
