I spent almost 2 hours trying for the LittleBigPlanet beta but ZOMG it was worth it. Really cute (obviously I’d love that) yet really challenging. Your custom level creation options are pretty much endless. Not only that but the better you actually do in the pre-existing levels, the more cool stuff you unlock to put into your own levels. You also unlock a bunch of things by doing the tutorials so don’t skip them if you want everything!!

The physics in the game is excellent and Stephen Fry makes the most excellent narrator for any game ever!! He’s perfect for it. I thought I was excited for the release before (Oct. 24th by the way) but now I’m uber excited!! Only one level is available in the beta (along with any of your own levels plus levels by other people online) so I’m really looking forward to some of the crazy things the developers have come up with.

I am loving the way that you are able to upload your level and share it with the world. People can play your level and “heart” it if they like it. I am usually surprised at the quality of user submitted content in many games and this is no exception. In such a short period of time, some people have created som really amazingly innovative and fun levels.

A warning to other beta players, do not share your beta key!! They’ve put a stop to this sharing by making the game unplayable if it is used by the same account on more than one PS3 so to be on the safe side just don’t do it!!
