Please excuse my absence over the past week or so. I have been a very busy bee playing nurse and trying not to throw my laptop out the window.

L33tz0r had an operation on his leg on Monday so it’s been all fun and games since then with me running up and down the stairs getting cups of tea and running to the store across the street for Mars bars. A few days after the operation the bandage on his leg had to be changed so being the loving girlfriend that I am, I tried to change it for him. Let me just tell you, I will never, ever in any lifetime be a nurse. As I started to peel off the bandage I started to feel woozy and sick and had to sit down because I thought I was going to faint! I then had to go get one of our housemates to change the bandage because I couldn’t hack it!! Poor L33tz0r and his nurtureless nurse!!

It was my birthday 2 days ago and since L33tz0r isn’t able to walk long distances or dance just yet we decided on a meal and a quiet drink at a place just down the road from our house. The meal and the company was very nice and I really enjoyed myself. But what was meant to be a quiet drink turned into 2 bottles of wine and me spending yesterday sitting around clutching my bottle of water and begging God for relief from the horrors of my hangover!! At least I enjoyed myself … well the parts that I remember!!

I also had to reinstall Windows on my laptop because the poor thing has had just about enough. It’s almost 3 years old and when I bought it I was hoping that it would last me at least 5. I haven’t had any complaints about it until a few months ago when the speakers suddently stopped working. Now everything is burning out on it and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll just have to suck it up and buy myself a new one. But do I go for a Dell again or try another brand? The one that I currently have is an Inspiron 6000 and I’ve had a look at the new range of Dell Inspiron laptops. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

In blogging news, I’d like to have L33tz0r write some game reviews for you on this site. He’s really funny and knows his stuff when it comes to gaming alot more that I do so I thought it might be nice for both L33tz0r and you readers. Expect to see something soon!!
